HEALTHY FISH BALLS




Fish balls are a popular dish in Southern China as well as in the part of Southeast Asia, Hong Kong Macau and among the overseas Chinese communities. Fish is comparison to other meat types, has several important Nutritional Values in its favor as well as health benefits such as low in cholesterol, high in good quality protein, and it contains unsaturated fatty acids such as omega-3 type ( Haddock ,Mackerel ,Salmon , etc)which helps to prevent the weakness in human body.
Health benefits of Fish- Fish is a low-fat high-quality protein. Fish is filled with omega-3 fatty acids and vitamins such as D and B2.Fish (Salmon, Mackerel, herring, are the perfect food for healthy and glowing skin. Fish contains fatty-acids(EPA AND DHA) are a necessary component of the human brain and playing a significant role in a variety of cognitive functions. Medical science suggests that eating fish regularly and prevent the danger of Heart disease and blood pressure.
Fish can also improve your mood. Omega -3 fats protect your skin from harmful UV rays. Therefore, for better health eat Fish regularly.
There are three types of Fish Balls, such as golden, white and yellow, each differing in their textures and production method.
For East Asian Fish Balls, the Fish are shredded, coarsely ground or even pounded.
Scandinavian Fish balls are made of completely pureed Fish, milk and potato flour which produces a softer textured food.
Qin Shihuang (the first emperor of China) told his cook to prepare a Fish dish for every meal the emperor liked the Fish Ball soup a lot and the recipe was adjusted and passed on through generations.
Asian Fish Balls are larger and made with White Fish. Fish Ball is a general name for Ball-like Fish snacks in China .it’s very popular in the Southern part of China such as Fuzhou , Xiamen etc. The crispy, crunchy and soft Fish Balls can be chopped Fish crust stuffed with pork or without and also served with a sweet and spicy or sour sauce which adds more flavor in Fish Balls.
Fish Balls have a furry, flexible texture with a strong and delicious taste of Fish.
Fish is the most famous seafood and seafood lover always remains in search of varieties of seafood Cuisine. Fish Balls is made with boneless Fish meat mince. It is difficult to handle but the recipe here is very easy!
Ingredients
·      Fish two pieces equal to one cup after shredded
·      Potato 250 Gram       (if you needed)
·      Salt 1 teaspoon or to taste
·      Black pepper                 1 teaspoon
·      Egg   2
·      Lemon 1
·      Oil for frying
·      Chinese seaweed       (as per requirement)
·      Sesame oil 1 teaspoon
·      Red chili powder                  1 teaspoon
·      Dry coriander                      1teaspoon
·      Lettuce                         (as per requirement)
·      Cumin powder 1teaspoon
·      Onion                                        2-3
·      Ginger and garlic paste        2teaspoon
·      Yogurt                                    2-3 teaspoon
·      Turmeric powder                   1teaspoon


Preparation method

First of all boil the Fish with a half a cup of water and one lemon. When Fish is done let it cool down shredded the Fish. Boil 250-gram potato and mash them. Put all the ingredients red chili, black pepper, Chinese seaweed, cumin powder, Turmeric powder, yogurt , garlic , and ginger paste  chopped onions and half beat egg and mix it well. Make small size Fish Balls first coat them in flour then egg and then bread crumbs. Coat all the Balls like this and deep fry them in oil until they golden brown. After all, decorate them in lettuce leaves or coriander and enjoy the delicious and crunchy Fish Balls with ketchup.
